Man City Plotting Cresswell Swoop

Manchester City are tracking the progress of West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell with a view to a move for the player in the summer, say the Mirror.

The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Ipswich last summer for £4m, and has been worth every penny, and is recognised as one of the signings of the season in the Premier League.

Cresswell has also bee tipped to be an England star in the coming years by a number of football pundits in recent weeks, following a stellar start to his West Ham career.

Manuel Pellegrini sees Cresswell as a potential long-term replacement to ageing left-backs Aleksander Kolarov and Gael Clichy.
