Divine Mukasa and Airidas Golambeckis Start as England U20s Beat Italy

West Ham United youngsters Divine Mukasa and Airidas Golambeckis both started as England U20s opened their Euro Elite League campaign with a 3-1 victory over Italy.

The Young Lions began their three-match international programme at Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano in Spain on Friday morning.

West Ham have officially confirmed Mukasa and Golambeckis started the victory, giving both players further valuable international minutes after their involvement around Nuno Espírito Santo’s first team this season.

Two West Ham Youngsters Start England Win

Mukasa and Golambeckis were two of three West Ham players available to Darren Moore following Finlay Herrick’s injury withdrawal.

Ezra Mayers also remains part of the England U20 squad.

Golambeckis has already made Championship appearances for West Ham this season, while Mukasa has established himself as a regular member of Nuno’s senior group.

West Ham originally had four players selected for England U20 duty before Herrick was forced to withdraw.

Every appearance involving the club’s players is being recorded in our West Ham international break tracker.

When Do England U20s Play Next?
