West Ham hand fans fresh QPR ticket chance as key sales threshold triggers derby release

West Ham supporters have another route to tickets for next month’s QPR clash after the club opened its official Ticket Exchange.

The Hammers host their London rivals at London Stadium on Friday 9 October, with kick-off at 8pm BST.

The exchange allows season-ticket holders who cannot attend to offer their seats for resale, giving other supporters an opportunity to buy through the club.

West Ham vs QPR Ticket Exchange opens

There is an important detail in the club’s official QPR ticket information.

For this fixture, the public exchange opens once 85% of general match tickets have sold. Seats already listed by season-ticket holders then become available to purchase.

Its activation therefore does not mean every standard ticket has sold out.

Supporters should check the official West Ham ticketing website for current availability, seating options and prices.

Our West Ham tickets guide also explains how the exchange works.

Friday date matters for ticket holders

Ticket downloads and ticket forwarding are scheduled to become available from 11am on Friday 2 October.

Season-ticket holders unable to attend can list their seats on the exchange. They receive Club Cash if another supporter buys the ticket, with the amount depending on their seating band and ticket category.

Listing a seat does not guarantee a sale.

For buyers, availability can change as supporters release seats and others purchase them. The club’s live ticketing system remains the place to check before making plans for the Friday-night derby.
