Manchester United Confirm Four Absences Before West Ham Clash

Manchester United Women will be without four players when West Ham United visit the Progress With Unity Stadium on Sunday.

Eva Olid provided a fresh availability update before the Women’s Super League fixture, with Jayde Riviere, Emma Watson, Celin Bizet Donnum and Fridolina Rolfö all unavailable.

However, Ellen Wangerheim has returned to contention.

Speaking in her pre-West Ham press conference, Olid confirmed Wangerheim is fully available again after recently dealing with a knee problem.

The Manchester United head coach said Riviere and Watson still require more time before returning.

Bizet Donnum has made encouraging progress after returning to full training following maternity leave, but Sunday’s fixture comes too soon.

Rolfö also remains unavailable after announcing her pregnancy earlier this month.

United therefore regain one attacking option while remaining without several members of their squad.
