Everton now provide the next test as West Ham look to establish some early momentum in the WSL.

West Ham look to build on first WSL win

Read West Ham’s match report from the 2-1 win over London City highlighted a much more composed performance from Guarino’s revamped squad.
The victory also gave several summer arrivals another opportunity to settle into their new surroundings.

Everton provide next WSL test
West Ham know there is still significant room for improvement.

Guarino’s side enjoyed plenty of possession that afternoon but struggled to turn it into clear chances.
Sunday therefore offers an opportunity to show how much West Ham’s attacking structure has developed since then.
Gago and Asseyi will both enter the game with confidence after scoring against London City, while Kumagai adds experience to a midfield still learning Guarino’s demands.
A second successive league victory would represent another important step for a significantly rebuilt West Ham side.
