West Ham predicted XI vs Wolves as Nuno makes ruthless Castellanos call

Nuno Espírito Santo could make another major attacking change when West Ham United host Wolves on Tuesday night, with Joël Piroe pushing to replace Taty Castellanos.

West Ham managed only one shot on target during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Watford despite dominating possession.

Piroe impressed during the Carabao Cup win at Southampton before dropping back to the bench at Vicarage Road, while new £10m signing Edvin Austbø could also be included in the squad following his arrival from Viking.

West Ham predicted XI vs Wolves

Predicted XI: Hermansen; Veltman, Golambeckis, Kilman, Walker-Peters; Orford, Engels; Bowen, Mukasa, Solomon; Piroe.

The biggest call could come up front.

Castellanos started against Watford but West Ham again struggled to create clear chances, which may tempt Nuno to hand Piroe his first Championship start for the club.

Lewis Orford is also pushing strongly to replace Mohamadou Kanté after coming off the bench at Vicarage Road.

Airidas Golambeckis deserves another opportunity following his impressive full league debut, although Konstantinos Mavropanos could return after missing Watford with a minor issue.

Pablo Felipe is also available again, with Wolves confirming the forward returned to West Ham’s squad at Watford.

Austbø may have to settle for a place among the substitutes immediately after completing his move.

West Ham desperately need something to change after taking only two points from nine, and Nuno could respond by making the ruthless decision to take Castellanos out of the starting XI.
