Is Southampton vs West Ham on TV? Kick-off time and how to watch

West Ham United travel to Southampton in the second round of the Carabao Cup next week as Nuno Espírito Santo’s side continue a busy start to the 2026/27 season.

The Hammers visit St Mary’s Stadium on Tuesday 25 August, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm BST.

West Ham reached the second round after beating Portsmouth 3-1 at London Stadium, while Southampton progressed with a 2-0 victory away at Colchester United.

Supporters unable to make the trip to the south coast will be able to watch the game live in the United Kingdom.

Is Southampton vs West Ham on TV?

Yes. Southampton vs West Ham will be available live through Sky Sports.

Sky’s current domestic agreement with the EFL covers all 93 Carabao Cup matches during the 2026/27 season, meaning every tie is available across Sky Sports channels or its streaming service.

Matches not selected for one of Sky’s main television channels can be accessed through Sky Sports+.

Existing Sky Sports subscribers can access Sky Sports+ as part of their subscription, while supporters without Sky can stream matches through a NOW Sports membership.

The exact Sky channel allocation can be confirmed closer to kick-off, but the match falls within Sky’s comprehensive Carabao Cup coverage.

Southampton vs West Ham kick-off time

Southampton vs West Ham kicks off at 7.45pm BST on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at St Mary’s.

West Ham’s official ticket information confirms the date, venue and kick-off time, with the Hammers receiving an away allocation of 3,008 tickets.

The cup tie comes during a demanding period for Nuno’s squad.

West Ham host Charlton Athletic in the Championship on Saturday before travelling to Southampton three days later and then heading to Watford on Saturday 29 August.

Rotation could therefore become an important part of Nuno’s thinking, particularly following the recent additions of Joel Piroe and Arne Engels.

The Southampton match will also provide another opportunity for some of West Ham’s younger players and fringe members to push for more regular first-team football as the Championship campaign gathers pace.
