West Ham United have reportedly received an offer from Fulham for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the race for the £25million-rated defender intensifies.
The latest Aaron Wan-Bissaka West Ham transfer development comes less than 24 hours after Aston Villa opened talks over a possible move.
ReadWestHam reported on Wednesday that Aston Villa had held exploratory talks with West Ham, with the Hammers valuing Wan-Bissaka at around £25m.
Fulham have now made their own move.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka West Ham transfer race takes fresh turn
According to the Daily Mail, as relayed by West Ham Zone, Fulham have tabled an offer for the 28-year-old.
The proposal is reportedly structured as an initial loan, rather than the permanent transfer West Ham could potentially secure elsewhere.
That structure could give the Hammers a significant decision to make.
Wan-Bissaka remains under a long-term contract after joining West Ham from Manchester United for £15m in 2024, while Aston Villa’s interest offers the possibility of a permanent Premier League move. Fulham’s approach adds another option as his future develops quickly ahead of the Championship opener against Burnley.
West Ham also have cover at right-back, with Kyle Walker-Peters and Joel Veltman capable of operating there. That could make a departure easier to manage if Nuno Espírito Santo decides the financial terms are right.
The situation has now progressed rapidly in less than 24 hours.
Villa have opened talks, Fulham have reportedly submitted an offer and West Ham have a £25m-rated asset attracting genuine Premier League interest.
The next question is whether the Hammers are prepared to entertain a loan or hold out for a permanent sale.
