West Ham U21 fixtures for the 2026/27 Premier League 2 season have been confirmed, with Mark Robson’s side opening their campaign at home to Southampton.
The young Hammers will begin at Rush Green on Friday, 21 August before travelling across London to face Chelsea ten days later.
Liverpool will then visit West Ham on 14 September, while Leicester City provide the final league opposition of the month.
West Ham have published the U21 fixture schedule ahead of Robson’s return to lead the development side this season.

West Ham will play 20 regular-season matches in the new Premier League 2 format, with the top 16 teams progressing into the knockout play-offs.
Home meetings with Tottenham, Leeds United, Sunderland, Wolves and Fulham are among the fixtures scheduled at Rush Green.
The Hammers will also travel to Manchester United in January before finishing their regular season away to Crystal Palace on 19 March.
There will be particular interest in West Ham’s academy this season following the opportunities given to several young players during the first team’s summer programme.

Lewis Orford subsequently made his first senior start, while Josh Ajala came off the bench for his West Ham debut.
The U21 side finished 13th during the 2025/26 Premier League 2 regular season before beating Fulham on penalties in the first round of the play-offs.
Their run ended with a 3-0 quarter-final defeat by Brighton.
Robson will now oversee the next stage of development for a group hoping to produce more players capable of moving into Nuno Espírito Santo’s senior squad.
