Manor Solomon is reportedly set to join West Ham after negotiations with Tottenham took a dramatic turn, with the deal potentially rising to almost £10million.
Talks appeared to have collapsed earlier this week over the financial structure of the move, but West Ham quickly returned to negotiations for the winger.
Israeli outlet Ynet now reports that Solomon’s move to West Ham has been finalised, bringing his three-year spell as a Tottenham player close to an end.
West Ham are understood to have structured the agreement so a significant part of the fee depends on promotion.
Manor Solomon West Ham transfer moves towards completion
Ynet reports that West Ham could eventually pay just under £10m if Nuno Espírito Santo guides the club straight back into the Premier League.
That structure helps explain why negotiations became complicated.
West Ham had initially hoped to complete a deal at around £5m, while Tottenham wanted greater protection through performance-related payments.
Solomon already knows what a Championship promotion campaign demands.
He spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Leeds United, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists as Daniel Farke’s side won promotion to the Premier League.
Spells with Villarreal and Fiorentina followed, but Solomon remains contracted to Tottenham until 2028.
His expected arrival would also address one of the clearest gaps remaining in Nuno’s squad.
Crysencio Summerville’s departure left West Ham short of an established natural left winger, with ReadWestHam analysing on Friday why the rebuild remained unfinished despite around £140m being raised through major sales.
Solomon would bring pace, direct running and proven Championship productivity to that side of the pitch.
West Ham and Tottenham have not yet officially announced the transfer, meaning the move should still be described as reported rather than completed by the clubs.
However, after appearing close to collapse only days ago, the deal now looks set to give Nuno another attacking option for West Ham’s promotion push.
