Manor Solomon’s agent has talked up a potential West Ham United move as the Tottenham Hotspur winger searches for regular first-team football.
The Hammers already lead the race for the 27-year-old, with Hull City and Fiorentina also showing interest. Tottenham are open to finding a permanent solution for Solomon before the transfer window closes.
His representative Shlomi Ben Ezra has now addressed West Ham directly, describing the Hammers as a “huge club” while suggesting Solomon’s future is likely to remain in England.
Manor Solomon agent responds to West Ham interest
Solomon has returned to Tottenham following a series of loan spells but faces significant competition for minutes under Roberto De Zerbi.
Ben Ezra told Sport5 that his client does not expect to immediately become a regular starter at Spurs and now wants to find a club where he can play an important role.
ReadWestHam reported on Tuesday that West Ham lead the race for Solomon, with Tottenham reportedly valuing the winger at around £20million. Hull have since joined the pursuit, while Fiorentina remain another potential destination.
Solomon already knows the Championship well after helping Leeds United win promotion. He produced 10 goals and 12 assists in 39 league appearances, showing he can provide the creativity Nuno Espírito Santo has lost following Crysencio Summerville’s departure.
Ben Ezra also pointed towards West Ham’s history with Israeli players, mentioning Yossi Benayoun and Eyal Berkovic when discussing the club.
More importantly for the current negotiations, he expects Solomon to remain in England.
“I believe he’ll be playing in England next year. It’s very likely.”
The latest report on Solomon’s future and his agent’s West Ham comments says several clubs remain interested and negotiations are expected to continue over the coming days.
No agreement has yet been reached between West Ham and Tottenham.
However, Solomon’s desire for regular football and his representative publicly welcoming West Ham as a potential destination give Nuno another reason to push the deal forward.
