Michail Antonio has named West Ham’s final match at the Boleyn Ground among his favourite memories from a decade in east London.
Antonio helped the Hammers mark their farewell to the Boleyn Ground with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Manchester United in May 2016.
The forward scored West Ham’s second goal before Winston Reid headed home the winner. Antonio recalled the atmosphere as “unbelievable” when discussing his career with FourFourTwo.

“Our final game at the Boleyn Ground,” Antonio told FourFourTwo.
“That atmosphere when we went out on the pitch and the way we won against Manchester United was unbelievable.”
Antonio also selected West Ham’s Europa League quarter-final victory away to Lyon in April 2022. David Moyes’ side won 3-0 in France to progress 4-1 on aggregate.
His favourite goal came against Bournemouth in August 2016. Antonio’s late header secured a 1-0 victory and made him the first West Ham player to score a Premier League goal at London Stadium.
The former Hammer remains the club’s leading Premier League scorer with 68 goals across 268 appearances.
Antonio also described Jarrod Bowen’s Conference League final winner as “unbelievable”. The striker celebrated with his brother in Prague while dealing with difficulties away from football.
His latest comments offer a warmer reflection following a difficult departure from east London. Antonio previously made several explosive claims about how his West Ham career ended.
