Niclas Füllkrug’s West Ham exit is expected within the next seven to 10 days after the striker was separated from Nuno Espírito Santo’s first-team squad.
The Germany international is reportedly training alone as the Hammers work towards his permanent departure.
Claret & Hugh reports that a well-placed club source has described Füllkrug’s exit as a near certainty. The 33-year-old was also left out of the squad for West Ham’s 5-0 friendly victory over Stevenage.
Füllkrug had featured earlier in pre-season and scored during the behind-closed-doors win against Colchester United. His subsequent absence suggests Nuno has now moved forward without the former Borussia Dortmund striker in his plans.
The forward returned to east London after AC Milan decided against making his loan permanent. He scored once in 20 Serie A appearances during the second half of last season before returning to West Ham.

Füllkrug joined West Ham from Dortmund for around £27.5million in 2024. Injuries and inconsistent form prevented him from establishing himself, with the striker scoring three times during his spell in claret and blue.
