Crysencio Summerville has sent an emotional farewell message to West Ham supporters after completing his transfer to Al Hilal.
The farewell ends a two-year spell in east London which brought 56 appearances and eight goals.
Summerville thanked supporters for standing by him through both successful and difficult periods.
“Dear Irons, this is the end of my time as a West Ham player,” he wrote. “Wherever life and football take me, I will always be blowing bubbles.”
The 24-year-old shared the message after West Ham confirmed his permanent departure. ReadWestHam previously reported that Summerville had completed his move to Al Hilal, with the final package widely reported to be worth around £60million.
Neither West Ham nor Al Hilal disclosed the transfer fee. However, the Saudi club confirmed that Summerville has signed a four-year contract and joined Simone Inzaghi’s squad at its pre-season camp in Austria. Al Hilal announced the signing through its official website.

Summerville joined West Ham from Leeds United in August 2024 and became a full Netherlands international during his time at the London Stadium.
His second campaign produced his strongest football for the club, although it ended with relegation to the Championship. A productive World Cup then increased interest from across Europe.
Roma submitted several offers before Al Hilal moved ahead of the Italian club. Manchester United, Aston Villa and other Premier League sides were also linked with the winger.
West Ham have lost one of their most dangerous attacking players, but the sale provides Nuno Espírito Santo with substantial funds to rebuild his squad.
The Crysencio Summerville West Ham farewell also reflects the connection he retained with supporters despite a difficult final season. His closing reference to “blowing bubbles” ensures his final message will be remembered fondly in east London.
