Callum Wilson has sent a farewell message to West Ham United supporters after completing his move to Brentford.
The 34-year-old has joined Brentford on a one-year deal following his departure from West Ham, with the Bees confirming the free transfer on Thursday.
Wilson posted a short message to West Ham fans after the move. He wrote: “Thank you to everyone associated with West Ham. Although it was short time wearing the shirt, I felt nothing but love from all you fans. Hope you can get back where you all belong.”
His exit had already left West Ham with another attacking gap to assess. ReadWestHam recently covered how Wilson’s Brentford move changes West Ham’s striker planning, with Nuno Espirito Santo short of proven centre-forward options.

Wilson Leaves On Warm Terms
Wilson’s West Ham spell did not last long, but his message made clear he valued the backing he received from supporters.
Brentford have added him as an experienced Premier League forward. Their official interview said Wilson has signed a one-year contract after leaving West Ham, giving Keith Andrews another senior option in attack.
For West Ham, the move confirms another senior departure in a summer already shaped by change. Wilson brought top-flight experience, but his short contract always left his future open once the season ended.
The Hammers now need to decide how they replace his minutes and experience. With the new campaign approaching, the striker department remains one of the clearest areas for attention.
Wilson will now continue his career in west London, while West Ham move on with a younger and thinner attacking group.
