West Ham winger gives no indication of future in interview with Dutch media
  • West Ham could sell up to nine players this summer
  • The team need to raise £150 million within this window
  • Crysencio Summerville is among the names expected to leave

West Ham United are bracing themselves for a number of departures this summer. The Hammers could lose up to nine players in the window as they attempt to raise £150 million that they need have to significant losses over the last two years.

Nuno Espirito Santo will stay at West Ham this season, but does not know which players he will have when the Championship season begins in August. The likes of Mateus Fernandes will not be at the club by the end of summer, but other such as Jarrod Bowen could be depending on how the window goes.

Crysencio Summerville is among the numbers expected to leave but as of yet, his future remains unresolved despite interest from many top clubs around Europe.

Crysencio Summerville remains coy on West ham future

The 24-year-old was a surprise call-up to the Netherlands World Cup squad after missing out on the last camp due to injury.

Dutch National Team boss, Ronald Koeman had stated he was keeping tabs on Summerville, but gave no indication that he would call the winger up. An ACL injury to Tottenham Hotspur‘s Xavi Simons appears to have turned things in Summerville’s favour, with the 24-year-old seemingly taking his place despite registering just one goal involvements since he returned from injury.

With Summerville’s future up in the air, the winger has followed up his social media statement when talking to Dutch media, giving no clues as to where his future lies, with or without West Ham.

“This relegation was tough for the club and for the players. Such a beautiful, big club as West Ham doesn’t belong in the Championship. I just hope we can return to the Premier League as soon as possible. It just wasn’t good enough this season.”

The 24-year-old will now head to the World Cup in North America, with his stock only expected to rise more. Spurs and AS Roma are two of his suitors and should he leave, the Hammers will be hoping for the biggest fee possible.
