- West Ham need to raise £150 million this summer
- At least five players will leave the club before the beginning of the season
- Jarrod Bowen is among the names that could leave the club
West Ham United are bracing themselves for a number of player departures this summer with a sum of £150 million needing to be raised by the club.
Almost all of the Hammers team are in the shop window with a number of Premier League stars expected to be first out of the door. Mateus Fernandes is likely to command the biggest fee with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain at the front of the queue.
Crysencio Summerville will also leave, with his World Cup inclusion raising his stock. Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams interested in the Dutch winger.
The exits will not stop their, but there is some hope that West Ham can keep hold of a few stars as they look to bounce back to the top-flight at the first time of asking.
Chelsea step up their pursuit of West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen
Chelsea are set to step up their pursuit of Iron’s captain Jarrod Bowen.
According to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, the Blues see the 29-year-old as the ideal winger as their recruitment style changes. The former Premier League champions believe they can get hold of the England international for around £40 million, rather than West Ham‘s valuation of £50 million.
Bowen is said to be open to remaining at the Hammers, but is also said to like the prospect of staying in the Premier League if it is with a club in London.
Jarrod Bowen’s 2025/26 West Ham United Statistics
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 42 | 11 | 12 |
Whilst Bowen did not have his best season with the Irons, he did have over 20 goal involvements, something a number of top flight teams are craving.
The Hammers want him to stay, that is clear, but age is not on the side of Bowen and with West Ham’s financial position, the club may be left with no choice should the right team come calling.
