- West Ham will play in the Championship next season
- The club is expected to offload a number of players as they raise funds
- Max Kilman will be one of those players
West Ham United will play in the Championship next season, ending a 14-year-stay in the Premier League. The Hammers are set for an uncertain summer, with many changes happening at boardroom level alongside a pressing need to raise funds.
Nuno Espirito Santo will stay at West Ham this year, but will have to build a promotion challenging squad whilst making £150 million this summer. The club are expected to begin a fire sale soon, with Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes expected to be the first two names out of the London Stadium.
Whilst Summerville and Fernandes are set to be the big names of the Hammers exodus, more is expected to follow. Jarred Bowen is yet to make up his future, whilst Valentin Castellanos could also be on his way out after just six months.
Whilst for some relegation could give them a new chance in the West Ham team, for others they remain with no future at the club and need to move on, sooner rather than later.
Reports say Max Kilman has no future at West Ham
Max Kilman joined West Ham when Julen Lopetegui was in charge of the club, bringing in the defender from their former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Just as Lopetegui’s tenure was short-lived, so was any hype around the signing of Kilman as his stock plummeted with in the club.
This season has seen no change for the defender, with both Graham Potter and Nuno dropping him on multiple occasions, with the latter opting to change formation rather than put him into a starting XI, stating he did not trust the 29-year-old.
Now, according Claret & Hugh, it has been revealed that Kilman has no future at West Ham, despite relegation. The club will look to move the player on, be that for a cut-price deal or send him out on-loan to facilitate getting the defender off their books.
Quite openly, Kilman has had no luck with the Hammers and this summer may finally free him from this nightmare as the club look to raise funds from anywhere and everywhere.
