Head-to-Head: Newcastle United vs West Ham

West Ham United head to Newcastle United knowing nothing other than three points is good for them. The Hammers are coming off the back of a controversial loss to Arsenal, where VAR ruled out a late equaliser for the home side.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sit two points from safety with just two games left in the Premier League. To put matters into short form, West Ham simply have to win at St James Park or they could be relegated before the final day.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United haven’t had the season they would have wanted. Once tipped for the top five, the Magpies have barely got out of the bottom half of the table this season. Howe’s men head into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
