Virals: West Ham set £75million asking price for Jarrod Bowen

West Ham will reportedly demand at least £75million in order to sell forward Jarrod Bowen in the summer.

The 25-year-old has been in sparkling form this season and has attracted interest from Liverpool as a result.

According to a report from Caught Offside, the Hammers have set their initial price tag for the Englishman.

The report claims that Liverpool are ‘big admirers’ of the man signed from Hull City but the Irons want ‘at least’ £75million – a fee which would see the club make a £55million profit on their investment.

This season Bowen – recently described as ‘first-class’ by Daniel Gabbidon – has scored 12 times and registered another 11 assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.

READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £31.5million and under contract at the London Stadium until 2024 (Transfermarkt), West Ham certainly find themselves in a strong position regarding the attacker.

However, not unlike Declan Rice, Bowen is performing to such a level whereby suitors are likely to keep coming and David Moyes’ side need to keep on improving in order to keep key players.

A top-four finish would more or less secure both as Irons next season. Fail to do achieve that and the summer could be a nervy one.

matchday.
