Virals: West Ham join ‘race’ for highly-rated Hull City duo

West Ham have reportedly joined the ‘race’ to sign Hull City duo Keane Lewis-Potter and Jacob Greaves.

The Hammers will rival Brentford as David Moyes delves into the Championship once again in order to bolster the ranks at the London Stadium.

Exciting winger Lewis-Potter has been linked previously but 21-year-old central defender Greaves is a fresh link to the Irons.

According to a report from 90min, as cited by West Ham News & Views on Twitter, Moyes is keen on a summer swoop for both starlets.

The report claims that fellow 21-year-old Lewis-Potter has ‘caught the eye’ of West Ham scouts – with the belief that the blueprint set out by Jarrod Bowen could be followed.

This season the Hull-born starlet has scored seven times and provided four assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £900,000 and under contract until 2023 (Transfermarkt), signing Lewis-Potter should be a relatively inexpensive option for the East Londoners.

Likewise, Greaves also holds a £900,000 perceived market value and would therefore represent a wholly affordable option to bolster the defensive ranks.

Both young talented and helping to fill the required homegrown player quota, a double swoop in the summer would tick plenty of boxes.
