West Ham are reportedly ‘deliberating’ over whether to make a move for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz.
The 22-year-old has recently appeared on the radar at both the London Stadium and at Newcastle United following a sensational 2021/22 Championship campaign.
West Ham reportedly sent scouts to the Blackburn Rovers v Hull City fixture last Wednesday to track Ben Brereton-Diaz.
The Hammers, along with Newcastle, will make their decision this week whether or not to push for the signing of the 22-year-old.

As the transfer window enters the final week, Irons’ boss David Moyes is believed to be considering a late swoop for the Chile international.
That’s according to a report from the Evening Standard, claiming that any potential deal could have become difficult.
The report states that the nine-cap ace’s participation in international against Argentina and Bolivia over the break has ‘complicated’ any move.
This season Brereton Diaz has scored 20 times and provided one assist in 29 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £9million and out of contract at the end of the season (Transfermarkt), the mooted £28.5million asking price is enough to put the Irons off alone.
Albeit the frontman is enjoying a superb campaign, paying that fee for a player with a dwindling contract seems way over the odds.
Add in the extra difficulty of the ace being away on international duty, this is a deal that may have to wait until the summer, even in the knowledge that by which time, Blackburn Rovers and Brereton Diaz could themselves be in the Premier League.
