AC Milan have reportedly enquired over the availability of West Ham central defender Issa Diop.
The 24-year-old has often been linked with a move away from the London Stadium with Tottenham and Liverpool previously tipped with a swoop.
However, the Frenchman has remained an Iron and has recently been called upon to fill the void at centre-back left by Angelo Ogbonna.
According to a report from Foot Mercato, as cited by West Ham News & Views on Twitter, Serie A giants AC Milan are the latest side to show an interest.
AC Milan have made an enquiry into the availability of West Ham defender Issa Diop in January.
The Italian giants see the 24 year old as a replacement for Simon Kjaer who is facing time out with an injury.

The report claims that the Rossonero have ‘contacted West Ham for information’ on the six-cap France Under 21 international.
So far this season the player Jose Mourinho described as a ‘monster’ has scored once for the Hammers in 13 appearances across all competitions.

Given the current injury crisis in East London, this is a non-starter for the Irons.
Whilst at full strength Diop is perhaps fourth in David Moyes’ pecking order, at present the Frenchman is indispensable.
Allowing defenders to leave the club should be the last thing on the agenda in January and the £10.8million valued man will likely stay until the end of the season at least.
