West Ham are reportedly ‘tracking’ FC Copenhagen striker Jonas Wind ahead of the January transfer window.
The Hammers are seemingly actively pursuing a frontman to bolster the squad and offer support to Michail Antonio.
One option would appear to be Denmark international Wind as David Moyes also considers a move for FC Basel hotshot Arthur Cabral.
That’s according to a report from the Mirror‘s Darren Lewis claiming the Scot has earmarked two key targets.
Capped 12 times at senior level, Wind would cost in the region of £11-15million according to various reports.
West Ham could sign FC Copenhagen striker Jonas Wind for a fee of just £11m in the January transfer window.
The Hammers’ have held a long-term interest in the 22-year-old Denmark international.

So far this season the 22-year-old has scored 10 and provided six assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Having failed to replace Sebastien Haller during the summer, signing an additional striker is a necessity in this January transfer window.
Although the Danish youngster doesn’t present the same goal threat as Cabral, Wind possesses more versatility than the Brazilian and could therefore be more suited to Moyes’ squad.
Valued at £6.3million and under contract until 2025 (Transfermarkt), paying anywhere in the region of the mooted fee for a talented prodigy would be an excellent piece of business.
