West Ham manager David Moyes currently has an abundance of selection headaches with almost the entire squad vying for a place in the Scot’s plans.

This has meant the 58-year-old has been able to suitably rotate the ranks without damaging the quality across all competitions.

However, there is a mounting situation at right-back as Vladimir Coufal returns to full fitness and attempts to wrestle his place back from Ben Johnson

The 21-year-old was superb in the Czech star’s absence and even opened the scoring against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Ahead of a doubleheader this week with Genk and Liverpool, journalist Tom Clark took to Twitter to predict how Moyes may see the dilemma.

Johnson has earned an impressive 7.70 average Sofascore rating from four Premier League outings whilst Coufal has been sidelined.

There is no doubting this is a huge call.

Whilst the London-born youngster has been brilliant recently, coming up against Sadio Mane and a marauding Andy Robertson is almost as tough as it gets.

Coufal’s experience could yet prevail as Moyes perhaps looks to quell the visitors to the London Stadium before hurting them.

Since arriving the 29-year-old has been among the best full-backs in the Premier League and could yet warrant a return for such a huge clash.
