In the week West Ham were once again linked with offering Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey a route back to the Premier League, the Welshman faced two current Irons.
The Hammers have reportedly been interested in the experienced 30-year-old since the summer and could look to reignite their admiration in January.
That’s according to a report from Calciomercato claiming that the East London club have made ‘tentative contact’ regarding the midfielder.
Amidst the interest, Ramsey lined up against West Ham duo and potential future teammates, Tomas Soucek and Alex Kral as Wales earned a 2-2 draw against the Czech Republic.
The 67 times capped star captained Wales on the night and scored the opening goal for Robert Page’s side.
West Ham loanee Kral was replaced late on by Jan Kuchta as the hosts struggled in the absence of another Iron, Vladimir Coufal.
So far this season the vastly experienced ace has only managed 106 minutes of competitive action in Italy.

Signing additional midfield options simply cannot be high on the list of priorities for David Moyes in January.
Albeit Ramsey continues to show he still has plenty to offer at the elite level when given the opportunity, the Hammers are blessed in the midfield department.
Bringing the Welshman to the London Stadium is unlikely to change the pecking order, leaving Ramsey behind Soucek and Declan Rice and therefore not in a dissimilar situation to the one in Turin.
Despite being a more attack-minded option than those in situ, there remains an overriding feeling that any January budget would be better used on a striker.
