Virals: Andriy Yarmolenko joins new World Heavyweight Champion for snap

West Ham forward Andriy Yarmolenko has been spotted celebrating with new World Heavyweight champions Oleksandr Usyk.

The Ukrainian boxer overcame British star Anthony Johsua in the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday night.

After his compatriot had won the bout on points, Yarmolenko was spotted even further engrossed in enemy territory when posing for a picture with Usyk.

The 31-year-old had earlier made a brief substitute appearance for the Hammers as David Moyes’ side beat Leeds United 2-1 at Elland Road.

Capped on a remarkable 102 occasions by the Eastern European nation, Yarmolenko has found himself well down the pecking order at the London Stadium in recent months.

So far this season the winger has made nine outings in all competitions, providing two assists in the process.

Another home defeat at Tottenham…

Whilst many Irons’ would’ve been very much in the London-born Joshuas’s camp on Saturday night, few could begrudge Usyk a deserved victory and will be delighted to see their man enjoy the moment.

In truth, moments of enjoyment in London could be few and far between for Yarmolenko as the experienced ace seems to be coming to the end of a stint with the club and could leave for free next summer.
