West Ham have two nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award for August.
The Hammers have backed up their remarkable 2020/21 campaign with an unbeaten start to the new season – picking up seven points from the opening three fixtures.
As a result of the fast start, attacking duo Michail Antonio and Said Benrahma have been nominated for a prestigious honour.

Antonio has made a superb start to the new season, scoring four and assisting three of the Hammers’ 10 goals.
Meanwhile, Benrahma has enjoyed a more prominent role in David Moyes’ side and scored twice as well as registering two assists from an attacking midfield role.
The duo face competition from Eric Dier, Marcos Alonso, Demarai Gray and Mason Greenwood for the award.
It is possible to vote for either Iron here.

Just rewards for both.
Whilst Antonio’s form is perhaps more breathtaking and likely to prevail, it’s the rise of Benrahma that may please the Hammers faithful most of all.
The Algerian struggled to have the desired impact following a move from Brentford last season, but the early signs would suggest a greater role is forthcoming.
Either way, the eventual winner stands a great chance of coming from east London and that would be yet another feather in the cap of Moyes and co.
