West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott is believed to be on the brink of joining French Ligue 2 side Nancy on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old will look to develop further under the stewardship of former Barnsley manager Daniel Stendel having spent last year back at the London Stadium.
Irons boss David Moyes is currently attempting to add competition in the ‘keeper department with both Sam Johnstone and Alphonse Areola heavily linked.

READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £225,000 and under contract until 2022 at the London Stadium (Transfermarkt), the Hammers will no doubt keep an eye on the Englishman’s progress in France and potentially offer a new contract.
Trott’s departure leaves West Ham with Lukasz Fabianski, Darren Randolph and David Martin as senior goalkeepers – potentially adding either Johnstone or Areola in the coming days.
Moyes will no doubt have a headache when it comes to choosing a number one on the opening day of the season against Newcastle United.
