West Ham are reportedly interested in a summer swoop for Lazio forward Joaquin Correa.
The Hammers are believed to face major competition from Premier League rivals Everton for the 26-year-old Argentina international.
This comes as the Rome based club are set to appoint former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as their new manager – with the Italian open to selling Correa.
That’s according to a report from TyC Sports as cited by West Ham Central on Twitter.

Correa, valued at £27million (Transfermarkt), has been earmarked as a worthwhile sale to raise funds for Sarri’s own transfer plans.
During the 2020/21 campaign, the five-times capped ace scored 11 and registered six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Despite predominantly operating as a second striker, Correa is capable of playing across multiple attacking positions, making him the ideal candidate to give David Moyes more in the way of options.
The Scottish manager certainly needs reinforcements in various positions, the Argentine could be a one size fits all solution, albeit an expensive one.
Under contract in Rome until 2024, West Ham would have to pay a small fortune in order to land the ace.
