West Ham Player Ratings: Liverpool (H)

West Ham were beaten for the first time in 10 matches as reigning champions Liverpool left east London with all three points after a 3-1 victory

The Hammers were unable to inflict their impressive recent form and style of play on the match as David Moyes‘ side were left wondering what might’ve been after missing the opportunity to go back into the top four.

After a obturate first half which saw little in the way of chances, the second half saw the deadlock broken by a fine Mohamed Salah strike leaving Lukasz Fabianski no chance.

The Irons were punished a second time from their own corner kick before a well-worked passing move resulted in the third and ultimately match-defining Gini Wijnaldum goal.

A late Craig Dawson finish handed the Hammers a late consolation goal with the central defender firing home from a corner.

Here’s how we rated Moyes’ men after succumbing to a back to form champions…
