Michail Antonio made a second return to action this season from a hamstring problem that has plagued him for over two months and West Ham fans were in a buoyant mood to see their main man back.
The 30-year-old striker has only seen an ill-fated 45 minutes of action since he came off against Manchester City in October but made his comeback to training this week before coming on for the final moments at St Mary’s.
Despite not being in the ground to see their talismanic striker make his much-anticipated return – West Ham fans found a way to make their unconfounded joy heard.
