West Ham Fans React to Links with Slavia Praha’s Abdallah Sima

It would seem as though Slavia Prague is an extension of the West Ham academy after another player from the Czech club was linked with a switch to the London Stadium – on the advice of a Hammers stalwart.

Senegalese forward Abdallah Sima (19) is seen as a hot prospect by ex-Slavia Prague mifielder Tomas Soucek, with the Irons’ Czech international urging the London club to move for the young talent.

Speaking to CT Sport, Soucek was clear on what Sima could add to Moyes’ sidem saying:

He shows one-on-one qualities, finishing, just a typical winger.

I have to say that the guys or the media around West Ham know about him. I would only be happy if another player from Slavia came, but it is still far away.

He’s still a young player and he has to prove it. But a lot of people know about him and notice him. Only good for him.

The versatile centre-forward, who can also feature on the wing, has yet to be valued by Transfermarkt. However, he has managed four goals in just six games in the Czech league, having recently burst into the first team.

He also has three goals and an assist in the Europa League, marking him him as a fierce prospect.

It is believed that a deal could be quite possible as Slavia Prague and West Ham have fostered a good working relationship with each other. The Hammers have signed both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from the Czech club, and Sima could be the latest Slavia talent to follow suit.

These West Ham fans took to Twitter to voice their amusement and reactions to the possibility of a deal, with one fan finding it “hilarious” that the Irons could raid Slavia yet again…

matchday.
