West Ham were dealt a blow on Thursday night when Arthur Masuaku revealed he has undergone knee surgery.
The DR Congo winger turned wing-back underwent an operation to rid himself of a pain he claimed he has felt ‘for nearly two years’, leaving David Moyes with a void in his team for the foreseeable future.
The 27-year-old has played a major part in the Hammers’ impressive start to the 2020/21 campaign, and as Moyes considers his options for the game against Leeds tonight, the manager must find a suitable replacement quickly.
With the January transfer window around the corner, the Irons could dip into the market to find a long term replacement should Moyes wish to keep Aaron Cresswell in his new central defensive role.
In the interim, these members of the West Ham faithful have had their say on who should replace Masuaku in the team…
