West Ham fans delighted as Nathan Holland makes his comeback

Many West Ham fans are delighted to see young Irons talent Nathan Holland make his return to action after a long injury layoff.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder continued his route back to full fitness after suffering a severe injury whilst on loan with Oxford United at the end of last season.

After making his Premier League debut for West Ham in April 2019 and being named 2019/20 Young Hammer of the Year, the future seemed bright for him before he was sent out on loan to gain more first team experience.

Holland played 45 minutes as the Hammers’ under-21s lost 3-0 to Peterborough in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday night.

This was the Manchester-born youngster’s first appearance in competitive football for nine months and many Irons fans responded gleefully to a tweet posted by Holland, with one supporter proclaiming that he was “buzzing” with the news…
