West Ham Fans Revel In On-Loan Youngster Xande Silva’s Strike

Many West Ham fans have reacted to footage of a stunning solo goal scored by Hammers youngster Xande Silva whilst out on loan for Greek side Aris Saloniki.

The 23-year-old grabbed his first goal for the club and it was a remarkable way to get off the mark. In his third game for his new club, Portuguese winger helped his side to second in the table when he rounded off the scoring in the closing stages of a 3-0 victory over AE Larisa.

The Hammers signed Silva from Vitoria de Guimarães in 2018 having represented Portugal at every junior level – although most of his appearances in claret and blue have come in the Irons’ under-23 ranks and David Moyes clearly felt more development was needed.
