Russian football expert Artur Petrosyan recently claimed West Ham are interested in signing Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral in January.

Spartak paid €12m for Kral last September and would want at least 18m if they have to sell.

The claim was enhanced by Roshane Thomas, Hammers reporter for The Athletic, on the U Irons podcast and many fans have duly been getting rather excited over the 22-year-old potential arrival at the club.
Kral, a full Czech Republic international who plays alongside Tomas Soucek for his country, is an expert passer with ball-carrying ability.
A former teammate of both Soucek and Vladimir Coufal at Slavia Prague, David Moyes could further bolster his Czech contingent with a deal thought to be in the region of £15m in the upcoming January window.
Moyes certainly needs to strengthen his options in the centre of midfield at London Stadium, as he can only call upon Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Kral’s compatriot Soucek as things stand.
