West Ham Predicted XI: Liverpool (A)

West Ham face the unenviable trip to Anfield to face Liverpool this weekend without their talismanic striker Michail Antonio, who is absent with a hamstring problem.

However, far be it a psychological disadvantage to the opponents, as their hosts themselves will be without both Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho, who had been covering at centre-back.

The Hammers have started the 2020/21 campaign in a strong manner and will be confident heading into the match after back-to-back draws with Tottenham and Manchester City in the last two fixtures.

Former Everton manager David Moyes’ jaunts to Anfield haven’t been filled with success down the years, although the Irons came close to causing an upset earlier this year.

Despite the home side’s injury concerns, those of a claret and blue persuasion will be all too aware a visit to Anfield is far from a given for three points.

With Said Benrahma and Craig Dawson seemingly short of match fitness and still awaiting West Ham debuts, here’s how we think Moyes will line his side up on Saturday…
