West Ham finally completed the deal to bring Algerian winger Said Benrahma to the London Stadium after a nervous deadline day.
The deal, initially looked set to be completed without a hitch and on a permanent basis, was ultimately settled as a loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season with the clock ticking towards the deadline.
This meant the 25-year-old wasn’t registered in time to be part of David Moyes’ squad for the trip to Tottenham, missing a dramatic 3-3 draw.
However, the new arrival has now been training with his new teammates and could be in line to make his debut on Saturday against Manchester City.
