West Ham linked with Alfredo Morelos

West Ham United have been linked with a surprise move to sign Alfredo Morelos from Rangers this summer.

According to claims from The Daily Star, the Hammers are in the market for another striker following the club-record acquisition of Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The French forward joined in a deal believed to be worth £45 million on Wednesday, and Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be eyeing another attacking reinforcement following the departures of Lucas Perez, Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic.

Morelos is named by The Daily Star as a player who has been identified as a target, with a possible £10 million transfer in the offing.

The Colombian forward took headlines for both the right and wrong reasons throughout last season. He found the back of the net 17 times for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership but was also sent off on five separate occasions.

West Ham do allegedly have concerns over the 23-year-old’s lack of discipline but have lined him up as a possible addition to their attacking options.
