Haller passes West Ham medical ahead of £45m switch

Sebastien Haller has passed his West Ham medical ahead of officially completing his £45m move to the club.

According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Haller will put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Hammers.

Haller has been heavily linked with a switch to West Ham in recent weeks and now appears set to complete his transfer in the coming hours.

The French striker scored 19 goals in all competitions for Frankfurt last season and helped the club reach the semi-finals of the Europa League – before losing on penalties to Chelsea.

West Ham have been on the lookout for a striker after Marko Arnautovic left the club to move to China earlier this summer and West Ham missed out on a deal for Maxi Gomez.
