West Ham set to finalise deal for Haller on Friday

West Ham are set to finalise the deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Sebastien Haller on Friday night.

According to Gazzetto Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, West Ham will meet with Haller’s representatives on Friday to iron out the remaining details before any official announcement is made.

West Ham have agreed a fee with Frankfurt in the region of €40m, which will make him the club’s second most expensive ever signing – behind the arrival of Felipe Anderson from Lazio for £36m last summer.

Haller is set to sign a five-year contract with West Ham that will see him earn at least €3m-per-year.

The French striker caught the eye last season with his exceptional performances for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. He scored 15 goals in the league, with a further four strikes in all competitions.
