West Ham have agreed a fee with Frankfurt in the region of €40m, which will make him the club’s second most expensive ever signing – behind the arrival of Felipe Anderson from Lazio for £36m last summer.
Haller is set to sign a five-year contract with West Ham that will see him earn at least €3m-per-year.
The French striker caught the eye last season with his exceptional performances for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. He scored 15 goals in the league, with a further four strikes in all competitions.
