West Ham target Callum Wilson set to sign new Bournemouth deal

West Ham transfer target Callum Wilson is set to sign a new contract with fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.

According to The Evening Standard, Wilson is poised to commit his future to Bournemouth by putting pen to paper on a long-term deal.

The Hammers are said to be interested in signing Wilson, but their hopes appear to be over as Wilson looks set to stay at Bournemouth and remain on the south coast for – at least – another season.

Wilson caught the eye with his performances for Bournemouth last season, netting 15 times in all competitions and becoming an England international in the process.

The report claims that Chelsea were also keen on a swoop for Wilson back in the January transfer window.

This comes after West Ham also missed out on a deal to sign Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez, who is now on the verge of completing a move to Valencia.
