West Ham are reportedly still pursuing a deal for Celta Vigo star Maxi Gomez, despite setbacks.
According to Sky Sports, West Ham remain in the race with Valencia to secure his signature this summer.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Gomez throughout the summer and have agreed a fee with Celta Vigo for the forward.
However, the deal hit a snag earlier this week as West Ham were unable to work out a payment structure with Celta to pay the agreed fee.
Gomez scored 13 goals in La Liga for Celta last season and has attracted interest from a number of clubs, with West Ham and Valencia leading the race to sign him.
West Ham are looking for a new striker after Marko Arnautovic completed his controversial move to China, having handed in a transfer request at the club.
