West Ham have been dealt a potential blow in their pursuit of West Brom striker Salomon Rondon this summer.
Sky Sports are reporting that Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang are interested in signing the forward.
This will come as bad news to West Ham as Rafa Benitez recently took over as manager of the Chinese club, after working with Rondon at Newcastle last season.

Benitez led Newcastle to a midtable finish in the Premier League last term before leaving upon the expiry of his contract.
Rondon spent last season on loan to Newcastle from West Brom and scored 11 goals in 32 league matches for the club, with West Ham looking to add him to their squad.
It remains unclear as to whether Dalian Yifang are willing to meet Rondon’s release clause. The striker is free to leave West Brom if a club is able to offer £16m for his services.
