West Ham stand firm on Arnautovic stance

West Ham are determined to keep hold of Marko Arnautovic this summer and have reiterated that he is going nowhere, as reported by Mail Online.

Inter Milan are the latest club to have been linked with a summer swoop for the Austria international forward, with the Nerazzurri keen on reuniting Arnautovic with the San Siro.

While the 30-year old is behind Manchester United’ Romelu Lukaku and Roma’s Edin Dzeko in Inter’s list of transfer targets, the Hammers are keen to reiteate their desire to keep their star man at the London Stadium beyond the summer.

West Ham have also been similarly defiant over interest in Declan Rice and Issa Diop this month, with Manuel Pellegrini determined to keep his star players at the club this summer.

Arnautovic had previously wanted a move away to China in January, only to do a U-turn and sign a new contract with the club, committing his future to the club until 2023.

Whether the club will actually be able to keep him at the club this summer is currently unclear.
