Jordan signs Sevilla deal, but could still join West Ham

West Ham target Joan Jordan has agreed a five-year deal at Sevilla, but that may not be the end of the saga.

The 24-year-old has been on the Hammers’ radar this summer, as Manuel Pellegrini looks to add further quality and depth to his midfield ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Eibar star has reportedly agreed a provisional contract with Sevilla, however, according to El Desmarque.

This doesn’t mean that West Ham’s chances of signing the Spaniard are over, though, and they still hope to acquire his services for €15 million,

Sevilla are only willing to spend €12 million on Jordan, which is where the Hammers could potentially take pole position.

If they act quickly, the east Londoners could jump in and make the midfielder their latest summer acquisition.

Jordan has been at Eibar since 2017, where he has impressed in the middle of the park over the past two seasons.
