Villa to give McGinn a new deal with West Ham keeping tabs
West Ham are reportedly among the teams tracking Aston Villa’s John McGinn following an impressive end to the season.
The Daily Mail claims that Aston Villa have moved quickly to reward the midfielder with a new deal following their return to the top flight.
West Ham and Leicester are among the Premier League sides said to be keeping a watchful eye on his development.
While the likes of Jack Grealish stole the headlines as Villa were promoted from the Championship, McGinn was one of the stars to play a key role, which included a Man of the Match performance at Wembley in the play-off final.
McGinn has quickly become a fan favourite at Villa following his move from Hibernian.
The Scotsman turned down a move to his boyhood club Celtic in order to join Villa.
He has certainly shown that he has the potential to step up in the top flight and he looks set to play a key role in their Premier League campaign next season.
