Declan Rice set to stay at West Ham

Football Insider are reporting that England international Declan Rice is set to reject any approaches from teams this summer, amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

The report claims that both teams are interested in signing the 20-year-old defensive midfielder ahead of next season.

Rice was sensational for West Ham last season and was a crucial part in their 10th-place finish.

His ability to break up play was crucial for Pellegrini’s men and he went on to appear in 34 of the Hammers’ league games, in which he also scored twice.

Rice also earned himself three caps for the England senior team, a testament to the great season he enjoyed in London.

It’s said that defensive-midfielder is settled at the club and wants to play another season with the Hammers. Rice, who joined the club from Chelsea at a young age, is dearly loved by the West Ham faithful.
