West Ham want to sign VfB Stuttgart’s Ozan Kabak this summer, but face plenty of competition from teams in England and Germany.
The 19-year-old centre back has only been at Stuttgart since January after joining from Galatasaray for €11 million, however, the teenager could be on the move again following their relegation from the Bundesliga.
According to Ed Aarons of The Guardian, West Ham are one of the teams who would like to sign the Turkish defender, who has a release clause in his contract of just £13.2 million.

Manuel Pellegrini is looking for a new central defender to provide competition to Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena, with Winston Reid and Angelo Ogbonna unfancied by the Chilean manager.
It seems that Kabak, the Bundesliga’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ for 2018/19, has been identified as a player who would be able to do just that.
However, the Hammers will have a fight on their hands if they are to sign Kabak, with Aarons claiming ‘several’ German clubs are interested, while Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are also rumoured to be weighing up offers.
Four more defenders linked with West Ham
West Ham have reportedly already bid for the Chilean centre back, who currently plays for La Liga side Deportivo Alaves. The 25-year-old will take part in the Copa America, which starts later this week.

Reports last week said West Ham were keen on signing the Fenerbache captain, who has a release clause of just €5 million. West Ham officials are apparently flying out for talks with the 29-year-old this week.
The highly rated French defender is a target for the Hammers. The 19-year-old centre back played 31 times for Marseille in Ligue 1 last season, and can also play at left-back or at the base of midfield.
Clyne is surplus to requirements at Liverpool and spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth. The Englishman is only 28, so has plenty of years ahead of him, and could be available for a cut-price fee.
